From Oregon originally, Ray Ferrari has been a member of the OC Soccer Club in Irvine since 2014. The OC Soccer Club is a 2nd division professional sports team. They play in the United Soccer league.
The USL is one of the most prominent D2 pro soccer leagues in the world. It reaches more than 75,000,000 people across North America. The USL Started with 8 clubs and now there are 33 USL clubs in 2018.
There is a Western conference and an Eastern conference. The OCSC believes that they are up there with the“big boys” like the Ducks and the Angels with full-time packages for their players. It is the highest-level of professional soccer in OC. Creating the world class player system alongside pro soccer. They have exclusive rights with their players and are now connected to the worldwide league with no restrictions on other clubs around the area.
James Keston is the team owner and CEO of the OCSC. Keston, a long-time OC native, bought the Club a few years ago and has been pinnacle in the success of the Club. It was originally the Irvine Blues but was changed to OCSC as Keston took over. The Club also has a strong partnership with the city where they have a 5000 seat stadium located at the great Park in Irvine. The Club also maintains a strong relationship with the LASC.
